What is CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System)?

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a point system used by Canada’s Federal express entry Immigration system to rank the candidates in Express Entry pool. • Age Factor-As an express entry candidate, you get maximum points for age factors, when you are in age group 18-35. • Academic Education factor– a decent educational qualification (minimum graduate) is must if you want to get good points for Canada PR in express entry and other provincial programs.

• Working Experience factor- Decent work experience (at least 3 years) can help you win decent points in Express Entry or PNP programs.

• Language Proficiency factor– You need to provide evidence of your proficiency in English or French by providing the language test result, i.e. IELTS with good band score (minimum CLB 7) and get good points based on the same.

• Adaptability factor-If you or your spouse/common law partner has past work experience or education in Canada, it can help you earn valuable points.

• Job offer or Arranged Employment factor– Although job offer is not mandatory as per the changes made in June 2017, but if you have a job offer from Canada, it can get you some crucial immigration points.

 

Eligibility for ITA (Invitation to Apply) based on CRS score

Eligibility for FSWP- 67 points Criteria

The Federal Express Entry immigration system of Canada is based on a point-system, known as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). An applicant has registered his account under one the below three categories i.e.

• Federal Skilled Worker

• Federal Skilled Trades

• Canadian Experience Class

 

If you are applying as a foreign Skilled Worker, your eligibility for FSWP will be checked before the eligibility for ITA. • Enhance Language proficiency: If you can enhance your language proficiency for first language, i.e. IELTS score for English proficiency, you can win valuable points based on the same. ‘

• Points for Sibling in Canada:If you are your spouse has a sibling living in Canada as permanent resident or Canadian citizen you can get good CRS points for the same.

• Enhanced Education or Experience: Higher qualification or increased work experience can also enhance your total CRS points score in federal Express Entry pool.
